Nella Francom, the composer of the lyrics on both music CDs, has lived the ‘law of positive attraction’ for more than 12 years – and has chosen to share her knowledge with the world.
Nella is a South African who lives in Hazyview next to the Kruger National Park.
In 1996 she found herself in a dark period in her life having gone through a traumatic divorce. She was a struggling single mother with an eight-year old daughter and no funds.
By chance, she read a book called ‘A Better Way to Live’ by Og Mandino - and it was from this book that she learned about the law of positive attraction.
She began living the philosophy and was soon seeing real positive changes in her life. |
She met and married her dream man, Clint, and shared with him how the law of positive attraction works. She taught it to her daughter, also named Nella, who is now a confident and positive, beautiful young woman doing extremely well at university. Young Nella’s positive attitude saw her being made head girl in her final year of school, playing first team hockey and first team tennis, and achieving cultural honours.
Nella continued to absorb all the literature she could find on the law of positive attraction – and the more she read, the more the beauty and simplicity of the concept became real to her. It was then that she realised that music could take these messages to a far wider audience than the published books. She took two months off work and sat on her patio overlooking the magnificent African bushveld. There, surrounded by inspiring books on positive living, and gleaning specific messages from the books, she wrote the lyrics to the Positive Attraction CDs.
Nella says the inspiration for the songs just happened. “I had decided that I would write 20 songs based on the steps to attract good things into your life through using the Law of Attraction, which simply put is none other than ‘thoughts are words that become reality – control your thoughts and you control your life’. “Once I sat down on my patio and I had all my thoughts together, the words of the songs just started flowing. It was wonderful.” On that remarkable basis, Nella wrote all 20 songs in just six weeks.
And the rest, as they say, is history! |
